SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Officers in Turner County encountered a pickup that had an active fire burning on the tailgate–as it was driving on the highway.
The Turner County Sheriff’s office posted photos on Facebook, and wrote: “Just because you googled ‘Is it illegal to have an active fire on the tailgate of my truck while driving’ and Google said ‘While specific laws about driving with a lit fire pit may not be explicitly mentioned in state law’ does NOT mean go for it.”…
