TROY, NY (WRGB) — A man is being treated for what police describe as serious injuries after a shooting on 6th Avenue in Troy Sunday.
Shortly before 6 p.m., Troy Police Patrols were called to a residence on 6th Avenue near Glen Avenue for a disturbance. When they arrived, Patrol officers located an adult male who was injured with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The victim sustained serious injuries and is currently being treated at a local area hospital.
Patrol officers secured the area and detectives have responded to continue the investigation. The incident has been contained. Preliminary determination is that the incident occurred inside the residence, and is being investigated as an isolated incident…
