(BALTIMORE – July 6, 2025) – For years now, Rondy Griffin has been quietly mastering the media game. In fact, I might’ve been one of his earliest test subjects. Back in the day, he crafted marketing packages for BMORENews during our foundational years. Media, marketing, and advertising come naturally to Rondy—skills that were first sharpened many moons ago at MCI, the legendary telemarketing hub in Towson that gave countless young Black professionals their start. That office was a launching pad for dreams, a proving ground where many, including our late brother Marcellus Anthony Williams (a.k.a. Marty), laid the groundwork for future greatness. Since Marty earned his wings 12 years ago, Rondy and I have continued to build—culminating in the launch of G. Grant Griffin Media this past December.
Our team includes Dr. Vonnya Pettigrew, Marc Clarke, and myself. Together, we’ve formed what we call DMV
Media—a collective of distinct voices with complementary talents. Dr. Pettigrew, host of “Market Place,” is a trailblazer in entrepreneurship and a community builder in East Harbor, where she quite literally “bought the block.” Marc Clarke needs no introduction. We all remember his days with 92Q’s Big Phat Morning Show alongside Troy, Marva, and Sonjay.
