Crews extinguish fire at homeless camp near TN auto repair shop

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WSMV) – Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire at a homeless camp in Springfield late Saturday night, according to Smokey Barn News.

SBN reports that a large emergency response occurred just after 10:50 p.m. when a fire was spotted near Dean Oil on East 11th Avenue, as fire and smoke appeared to be billowing from the auto repair shop.

However, when crews arrived, they found a small shelter located across the railroad tracks behind Dean Oil.
