Tropical Storm Chantal to bring ‘minimal impacts’ to Upstate

(WSPA) – Parts of the Upstate could see scattered showers and some gusty winds as Tropical Storm Chantal moves across the area.

According to the National Weather Service, the storm made landfall on the South Carolina coast around 4 a.m. Sunday, and it is expected to weaken as it moves across the eastern part of the state and into North Carolina and Virginia.
