Two people were hospitalized after a late-night shooting near North Broadway’s Speedway service station, sending ripples through the neighborhood just before dawn on Sunday.
Lexington Police confirm they received a report of “shots fired at the Speedway in the 700 block of North Broadway” at 2:05 a.m. Sunday morning, according to their public statement in WKYT’s live update “Two people taken to hospital after overnight Lexington shooting” published July 6, 2025.
