An updated report was issued from the National Weather Service on Sunday at 5:54 p.m. EDT for strong thunderstorms until 6:30 p.m. EDT for Ingham and Jackson counties.
Residents can be ready for wind gusts of up to 40 mph.
“At 5:53 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southwest of Stockbridge, or 11 miles northeast of Jackson, moving northeast at 40 mph,” states the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.”…
