ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department is investigating an incident that left a man injured in a parking lot near Durand Eastman Park Sunday night.
According to RPD, they responded to the area of Lakeshore Boulevard near Durand Eastman Park for a report of a person shot. Upon the arrival of officers who were patrolling the area, officers learned that there was a fight amongst a group of people.
Women seriously hurt after being hit by a car in Penfield
It was reported to the police that during the fight, several people reported hearing one gunshot. However, upon investigation of the area, officers did not find any evidence of gunshots fired or any victims that had been shot.
A 21-year-old man from Rochester was found to be injured after being hit in the head with an unknown object that police said could have been a glass bottle. The man was transported to URMC with non-life-threatening injuries…
