Northwest Iowa is at a marginal risk for severe weather late Monday. An isolated storm or two is possible in western and central Iowa during the afternoon and evening Monday.
Better rain chances come overnight into Tuesday morning, and isolated areas of heavy rainfall are possible. We may see more isolated storms again fire in the latter part of the day and evening on Tuesday.
Wednesday and Thursday look mostly dry, though a stationary front will be lurking just southwest of our state. A cold front brings a good chance of storms and heavy rain on Friday.
