Driver arrested for DUI after clocked at 100 MPH on Interstate 84

MERIDIAN, Idaho — Idaho State Police arrested a driver early Sunday morning after he was caught traveling 100 mph in a 65 mph zone while under the influence of alcohol.

Trooper Schirrmacher conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 84 in Meridian and subsequently performed a DUI investigation. The driver registered a blood alcohol content of 0.176%, more than twice Idaho’s legal limit of 0.08%.
