Police: Man shot shot brother during argument at Troy home

TROY — A 29-year-old city man was arrested for allegedly shooting his older brother following an argument Sunday night at a Sixth Avenue home.

City police found Stafon A. Farrell’s 31-year-old brother with a gunshot wound to his abdomen around 6 p.m. in the stairwell of the home, located near Glen Avenue. He remains in critical condition after being brought to a local hospital, police said.

Farrell’s description was broadcast to police, including patrol officers who saw him at a nearby store and detained him in a parking lot, police said. A gun was also found at the home…
