A suspect is dead after a deputy involved shooting over the weekend in Western North Carolina. The Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Pizza Hut in Brevard around 12:30AM, Sunday.
The Sheriff’s Office says as Deputies pulled into the parking lot, the suspect began firing. Deputies then returned fire the suspect was hit and was pronounced dead at the scene.
