COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The mostly dry weather from the holiday weekend more or less continues Monday with a few pop up storms. Stickier humidity levels return the rest of the week as does better chances for rain and storms at times.
Mostly sunny to partly cloudy on this Monday. Hot with highs between 93 and 96 degrees. There will be a few widely spaced showers and storms rain and storms during the afternoon hours. Rain coverage will be around 20 to maybe 30% with perhaps a slightly better a chance in our southern counties.
A few clouds Monday night with a slight a chance of rain early. Lows early Tuesday will be in the low to mid 70s.
Humidity starts to climb Tuesday and we’ll see a few more showers and storms during the afternoon. Highs climb in the low to mid 90s.
As the week goes on, rain coverage goes up a little more each day. By Thursday and Friday, that number will be around 50 to 60%. It won’t be a washout though. While highs will be closer to 90 degrees, it will feel like the mid to upper 90s with the humidity…
