TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Toledo officials are asking the public for any information related to unsolved crimes after a series of violent deaths over the holiday weekend.
A post from the Toledo Police Department on Monday said anyone with information on felony crimes committed in Lucas County that leads to an arrest maybe eligible for a cash reward up to $5,000. Anyone with information can text or call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. It operates 24/7 and those sharing information can remain anonymous.
The call for help was echoed by Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz in a statement addressing a series of unrelated violent incidents over the weekend. Kapszukiewicz said the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement is working with those affected by violent crime to help them heal and to address systemic causes of violence…
