CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a coastal hazard statement due to increased activity of sharks near Carolina Beach.
According to the NWS, the statement was issued after Carolina Beach Ocean Rescue reported multiple shark sightings Monday afternoon.
