Wedding bells will soon be ringing for LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier and his girlfriend, Ella Springfield.
The fifth-year senior proposed to Springfield, an LSU graduate living in Dallas, overlooking the water at sunset Saturday.
Both were wearing white and cream, and Nussmeier had constructed a walkway adorned with white flowers and candles. They were sounded by friends and family when he popped the question with an oval cut ring that has two diamonds on either side of the main setting.
The 23-year-old Nussmeier may get a championship ring of his own this football season, but he may also be sporting a wedding band of his own…
