For two-time Grammy-winning singer Lauren Daigle, every show is a chance to share a little hope.
That hope—rooted in a few childhood years spent at home due to a battle with cytomegalovirus—has been the driving force behind her Christian music career from the start. “The one thing that has remained the same is the mission of the message,” Daigle said. “I say that because, when I was a kid, I was placed on homebound. I had an illness, and I remember telling God, ‘If you get me out of this, I want to sing about the hope that you’ve given me for the rest of my life.’ The thing that I get most excited about is being able to share that hope with people.”
