Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen is sending the state’s Urban Search and Rescue team to Texas following deadly floods from the Guadalupe River.
The team, known as Nebraska Task Force One, is made up of 45 members and two canine teams. It will arrive in San Antonio Tuesday morning. Pillen said the team has all the training necessary to assist in the recovery and rescue efforts needed in Texas following Gov. Greg Abbot’s request for help.
