Spokane Police address false reports of shooter during Riverfront Park’s Fourth of July celebration

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Police released more information on a false shooting report that delayed the Fourth of July fireworks show in Riverfront Park Friday night.

According to SPD, a fight broke out near the clocktower just after 10 p.m. Police say there was initially information about a possible gun being involved, but no shots went off.
