The Montgomery County Department of Police Department (MCPD) has released additional information regarding a fatal collision that occurred on Sunday, July 6, 2025 in Wheaton.
According to MCPD, “At approximately 9:30 p.m., 4th District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel were dispatched to location for the report of a pedestrian collision. The decedent, 47-year-old Blanca Elida Parada Del Cid, of Kensington was hit by a car while crossing Veirs Mill Road.
The investigation has revealed that Parada Del Cid was crossing Veirs Mill Road, near Galt Avenue, when she was struck by the driver of a Nissan Rogue. Parada Del Cid was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene…
