Beloved Cheektowaga Restaurant Permanently Closed + People Are Sad

It is sad to see a Buffalo staple go. You have probably passed it a million times in your life–and now it is closing its doors for good.

Jim’s truck stop on Walden is right across the street from the galleria and even if you have never stopped there before it was one of the best 24-hour restaurants. The restaurants certainly had a share of very loyal customers that would go see some of the waiters and waitresses that have worked there for years and years. It was not just a hot spot for truckers that were going through Western New York and coming off the 90 but also Cheektowaga residents.

According to one of the employees on Facebook, there was little heads up that the employees would be working there last shift and that the manager informed them that they were going to be closing. According to some it seemed like the owners are retiring and shutting down the business for now.

Where are 24-hour restaurants around Buffalo, New York?

You actually don’t see too many 24-hour restaurants anymore. At one point in Western New York you could go down Transit road at 4:00 a.m. and have tons open that you could choose from–from Louie’s Hot dogs to Forestview to Hillview and so many more…
