HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Deadly flooding in Texas is raising concerns about emergency preparedness after officials say some people didn’t receive warnings soon enough.
That lack of warning had us asking questions about what measures are in place when flash floods happen here in Hamilton County.
More than 89 people have died as a result of the flooding, including 27 children.
Flash flooding along the Guadalupe River is being blamed as the primary cause of the deaths.
