(WJET/WFXP)– The driver involved in a deadly rollover crash last year on Interstate 79 near the Millcreek Mall is being accused of being under the influence of marijuana at the time of the crash.
According to the Erie Times News, Pennsylvania State Police in Girard have charged 20-year-old Kailee Davis with her alleged role in the crash that killed 17-year-old Cadence Gannoe of Fairview back on June 16, 2024.

The car Gannoe was in was traveling northbound on I-79 from Kearsarge when it collided with the car Davis was driving, causing the driver to lose control and roll over several times, ejecting Gannoe, before coming to a stop on its roof. She was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to UPMC Hamot.
Police are accusing Davis of having THC in her system, finding several THC vape pens in her car and blood tests from Davis also came back positive for THC.
