Henderson building’s air conditioning system malfunctioning, could cost millions to repair

HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) – It has been around 40 years since the Peabody building was built in the city of Henderson.

It houses the Henderson Police Department, Henderson Emergency Management Agency, City-County Planning and Code Enforcement and multiple other agencies.

The air conditioning system has not been replaced since the building was resurrected in the early 1980’s. Now, it is experiencing some issues that are causing the whole system to be replaced…
