MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was arrested at a Walmart in Atwater last week following a pursuit, the Madera County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.
Deputies report Jose Efrain Guardado, 32, was arrested on July 3 at a Walmart in Atwater.
Deputies said Guardado was arrested after multiple attempts to evade law enforcement. This included a foot pursuit and high-speed chase that was terminated.
While at Walmart, he tried to flee again, but deputies said he was safely apprehended after a brief struggle…
