A significant disruption unfolded on Beach Boulevard near I-295 yesterday when a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of St. Johns Bluff Road led to a temporary shutdown of the area’s westbound lanes. According to News4Jax, in response to the accident all traffic heading westbound on Beach Boulevard was diverted onto I-295, with the choice of heading either northbound or southbound creating a bottleneck situation that impacted the flow of vehicles well into the late hours.
