1 arrested in armed robbery on Laramie Drive in Lexington; man at large

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — One man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in June on Laramie Drive.

A criminal complaint on June 23 claimed that two men turned a gun on two women and forced their way in through the bedroom window. The men, later identified as Tristan Atkins and Christopher Ragland, were said to have demanded money and weapons.

Only $10 was taken before the men fled, according to the complaint. A minor told Lexington police that she had been talking with Ragland on social media for several months before the robbery. She reportedly admitted she had met with him before the robbery.

Investigators said a palm print on the bedroom window was reportedly identified as Ragland’s. He was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery…
