A Santa Rosa man who hit a parked car at a Ukiah motel earlier this year was recently convicted of driving under the influence, the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office reported.
According to the office of DA David Eyster, a Mendocino County Superior Court jury recently found Luis Manuel Pamatz Martinez, age 33, of Santa Rosa, “guilty of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and driving a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol .08 or greater, both as misdemeanors.”
Martinez was arrested, the DA reports, in March of 2025 after “the defendant backed out of a Ukiah motel parking spot and hit a parked vehicle. When the owner of the parked car attempted to obtain insurance information from the defendant, the defendant balked so the Ukiah Police Department was called. In talking with the defendant, the responding officer determined the defendant was under the influence of alcohol, (and) a breath test further determined the defendant had been driving with a blood alcohol of .14/.14.”…
