SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The Chatham County District Attorney’s Office has fired one of its victim advocates following an internal investigation that uncovered serious lapses in communication with crime victims, including failing to notify one victim WTOC spoke with, that the suspect in his case bonded out of jail.
The suspect, Brandon Collier, is accused of multiple assaults now, including a recent attack on a CAT Bus driver and a blind woman riding the bus in June.
He was charged with aggravated battery, criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree, obstruction, and possession of crack cocaine for the CAT bus attack…
