LUBBOCK, Texas— Members of communities across the state are helping provide relief to those impacted by the catastrophic flooding in Kerrville. One of them is Kerrville native and Lubbock resident, Kristen Wilson.
“It’s just the devastation it’s caused and it’s hard to look at it the same,” Wilson said.“The Hill Country itself is known for its amazing hills and the river, obviously and so to go and see that instead of hills, it’s this strong water and the trees just bent over, it’s insane.”
The devastating floods in the town that have left dozens dead and more still missing, have receded as much as they can, but Wilson said they’re far from the end…
