Springfield man sentenced following attempted robbery in 2022

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A Springfield man has been sentenced on three charges following an incident in 2022.

According to online court dockets, Zamarus Corley, born 2004, has been sentenced following charges of first-degree attempted robbery, armed criminal action and first-degree burglary. Corley was originally charged with a second count of armed criminal action, but it was dismissed.

The probable cause statement says that Springfield police were dispatched to a residence following a reported burglary in progress on Oct. 30, 2022.
