Woman hit, killed in crash on Dulles Toll Road

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — An investigation is underway after a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian on Dulles Toll Road overnight, according to Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police (MWAA).

The crash happened along westbound Dulles Toll Road (VA-267) around 2 a.m., on July 8, near the Herndon/Chantilly exit at mile marker 2.2, according to MWAA.

The pedestrian, whom police only identified as a woman, died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the crash site until responders took them to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, authorities noted.
