Two bitten by fox in Southern Pines

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields reports in a news advisory that on Saturday, July 5, Animal Services deputies were dispatched to a fox bite incident on Duncan Road near May Street in Southern Pines.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a female victim who reported being bitten by a fox while running along Duncan Road. Despite an extensive search, the animal was not located.
