(WNY News Now) – Branden J. Johnson, 29, of Jamestown, was arrested early Sunday morning on Bemus Ellery Road in the Village of Bemus Point for aggravated driving while intoxicated and speeding violations.
At approximately 1:41 a.m. on July 6, 2025, deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on Bemus Ellery Road (Route 430) in the Village of Bemus Point. The driver, identified as 29-year-old Branden J. Johnson of Jamestown, was suspected of impaired driving.
Upon further investigation, law enforcement determined that Johnson was operating his vehicle under the influence with a blood alcohol content exceeding the legal limit by a significant margin.
