KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A Knoxville man is facing up to 10 years in prison after he was convicted of multiple charges, including vehicular homicide, in connection to an August 2022 crash that left one person dead and another seriously injured.
The Knox County District Attorney Charme Allen’s office announced on Tuesday that Kenyan Roshad Warren, 46, was convicted of vehicular homicide, driving under the influence, and reckless aggravated assault. His sentencing is scheduled for August 20, and the DA’s office is expected to ask the judge for consecutive sentences that could total up to 10 years.
Motorcyclist dead after crash on North Broadway, Knoxville police investigating
In a five-day trial, prosecutors told the jury that on August 6, 2022, Knoxville police officers responded to a crash near the 1900 block of North Broadway, where a vehicle struck two pedestrians.
