Lucas County is providing free admission and food vouchers to county residents who wish to attend the Lucas County Fair Thursday, July 10 and Saturday, July 12, and TARTA is clearing the way to the midway with a convenient, affordable ride.
Thanks to everyone who joined us at this morning’s press conference this announcing this special event service, which offers a $3 round trip ride to the Lucas County Fairgrounds (1406 Key Street, Maumee) from the Transit Hub downtown (612 N. Huron Street, Toledo) on both July 10 and July 12. Shuttles to the Fair will leave the Cherry Street side of the Hub every hour on the hour between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. both days, and will return from the entrance to the fairgrounds at the bottom of the hour, with the last trip back departing Maumee at 8:30 p.m.
Shuttles will cost $1.50 per passenger each way. Youth ages 6-19 who hold a Youth Summer Blast Pass will ride the shuttle and all other TARTA services for free through August 31…
