With traffic booming, Palm Beach council to decide where future schools can be built

As Palm Beach continues to look for solutions to its traffic problems, a plan to prohibit future schools in most of the island’s commercial and residential areas heads to a final vote from the Town Council on July 9.

The plan would block the construction of new schools north of 2500 S. Ocean Blvd., Town Planner Jennifer Hofmeister-Drew told the council during its June 11 Development Review Committee meeting.
