MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – We will start the day with sunshine, but showers and thunderstorms will make their way back in this afternoon. High pressure is drifting off to the east of here now. That ridge will bring us sunshine during the first part of the day with an increase in clouds later this morning and into the afternoon. A couple waves of low pressure will be making their way through during the afternoon and nighttime hours. These surface low pressure systems are not particularly strong. One will pass by to the north, and one will pass by to the south. In between, scattered showers and thunderstorms are a pretty good bet later today and into tonight.
