Alleged trespassing suspect kicked officer during arrest

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a woman who allegedly entered several homes without permission kicked an officer during her arrest.

According to CSPD, on Monday, July 7, at around 11 a.m., officers were called to the 600 block of Crown Ridge Drive north of Old Colorado City to investigate a series of homes being unlawfully entered by a woman. Police learned the woman allegedly entered three homes and was removed by the homeowner at each location. The suspect was known to be living in a nearby home.

While police were taking the suspect, identified as Lora Sibley, into custody, she allegedly kicked an officer, causing pain and stiffness to the officer’s left thigh. Sibley was booked into the Criminal Justice Center for felony assault and trespassing…
