NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) reports statistics after participating in Operation Dry Water throughout the July 4 holiday weekend.
According to TWRA, there was a single death, three injury incidents, 24 alcohol-related boating under the influence (BUI) arrests, a public intoxication arrest, and a warrant arrest. Several written and verbal warnings were issued, mostly due to marine events and compliance issues.
