NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A rideshare driver who witnessed a shootout in Old Hickory Village last month said the incident left him unemployed and facing thousands of dollars in vehicle repairs.
The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. on June 23 in the 1100 block of Bryan Street, according to Metro police. Investigators said a 17-year-old was walking toward a vehicle when an unidentified man pulled out a firearm and began shooting. The teenager, who police said was also armed, returned fire before running to a nearby home for help.

The teen was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where he was last listed as being in stable condition.
