PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Stephen Palumbo’s back surgery is back on the schedule at Rhode Island Hospital.
“I’m just so looking forward to being able to stand up for a longer period of time without, like, insane pain,” Palumbo said. He has a spinal condition, and the operation, performed by a specialist at Rhode Island Hospital, will give him the chance to walk again.
Earlier in the year, Palumbo, who’s insured by UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare Advantage plan, had been scheduled for a July operation at the hospital, which is one of the four operated by Brown University Health in Rhode Island…
