Man rescued from St. Paul sewer may have been stuck for FOUR days

St. Paul firefighters on Tuesday rescued a man who may have been stuck in a sewer since the Fourth of July.

The St. Paul Fire Department’s advanced technical rescue team was called around 11 a.m. Tuesday to 435 University Ave. on a report of a person below grade in a sewer opening.

The man was found conscious and alert about 10 to 12 feet below the ground in the sewer.

He had reportedly been in the sewer for three or four days and was unable to get himself out, St. Paul Fire Department said…
