DAVIS COUNTY (ABC4) — The Duck Club Fire burning in Davis County is now 80% contained, and officials expect it to be fully contained “by evening” on July 7.
According to Davis County Fire Warden August Foreman, the fire has burned 196 acres, and currently, there is very little smoke and heat at the incident.

The fire was sparked by lightning on July 4th, and helicopters responded to the scene over the weekend.
Foreman also told ABC4.com that the fire is burning “in the middle of nowhere” and there are no risks to people or structures in the area.
