A recent string of robberies and carjackings involving young teens has raised concerns in Baltimore, with the latest incident occurring Monday evening in the Remington neighborhood. A shop owner reported that two teens, described as being between 13 and 14 years old, approached one of his employees at the SCCA Market. One of the teens allegedly pointed a gun at the employee and demanded money. The suspects reportedly fled west on 29th Street with cash and tobacco products.
This incident marks the 29th robbery in the area, highlighting a troubling trend of juvenile crime. In Hampden, five juveniles were involved in an early morning carjacking, with three of them already wearing ankle monitors. In another case in Northeast Baltimore, four teens were arrested for robbery and possession of a stolen car, with the youngest suspect being just 10 years old.
