Police search for suspects in COTA bus beatings

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Columbus Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a group of young men who beat a passenger on a COTA bus on Tuesday, June 24.

According to police, the bus was in the area of Parsons Ave. and Whittier St. when five suspects began to harass the victim, then assaulted the victim by punching him in the body and face. The suspects then got off the bus and fled on foot, leaving the victim bloodied and dazed.

Police believe the same suspects are responsible for several recent assaults and disturbances on COTA buses…
