DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The city of Dayton is working to combat the trend of growing gun violence by moving forward with the Peace Campaign and Cure Violence Program.
The program was halted by funding setbacks, but thanks to a partnership from the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association, the initiative will resume its mission. City leaders and activists say the need for change is dire, and they are eager to get back to work.
