Schoolcraft community speaks at village council meeting about canceled 4th of July parade

SCHOOLCRAFT, Mich. — “Heartbreak” and calls for accountability were shared during the public comment portion of the Schoolcraft Village Council meeting Monday.

Dozens of community members packed the room to demand answers after the town’s beloved Fourth of July parade was abruptly canceled just over a week before the holiday tradition.
