Pittsburgh police recovered seven firearms and made 12 arrests during a five-day enforcement operation on East Carson Street, marking a significant increase in weapons seizures compared to the previous week.
The South Side Entertainment Patrol conducted 10 traffic stops between July 2-6, resulting in seven traffic citations and seven vehicle tows. Officers also issued 26 non-traffic citations and five parking citations.
Arrests included charges for disorderly conduct, aggravated assault on law enforcement, carrying a firearm without a license and persons prohibited from possessing firearms. No firearms were recovered during the previous week’s patrol operations…
