A man was arrested after police rushed to a disturbance said to involve a gun at Home Depot in Lady Lake.
Officers responded to Home Depot, located at 871 N. U.S. Hwy. 27/441, around 11:10 a.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. An employee advised that there were two people arguing, one of which was later identified as 48-year-old Christopher Dale Perry of Hernando, and someone threatened to pull out a firearm.
Upon arrival, the officers saw Perry reach inside a pickup truck through the open front passenger door. He was told to stop digging inside the vehicle but ignored all commands. Due to the caller saying a firearm was involved and Perry reaching inside a vehicle, he was detained in handcuffs, the report said.
During this process, one of the officers noticed a clear glass bulb pipe sticking out between the front passenger seat and the floorboard. Further investigation revealed another clear glass bulb pipe stuck between the center console and front passenger seat. Both pipes contained a burnt white and gray residue, the report said…
